- Hahaha, welcome to the big, bad, scary world of uni! Be thankful you're not doing a law degree!
With reading, nothing I can really suggest except to skim read if you have a lot of stuff to read, especially if you're pressed for time. Sometimes I find that I actually understand something better if I read faster, not sure how that works...maybe it forces my brain to think faster or something.
The worst thing is getting stuck on something that you don't understand and getting frustrated, cos you just end up wasting a lot of time. The best thing to do if that happens is just to note down whatever you don't understand and look it up later, but don't get stuck, just keep reading. Sometimes something will only make sense after you've read the whole article (or the whole textbook), so don't worry if you don't understand it straight away.

Oh and TIME MANAGEMENT IS REALLY IMPORTANT. It took me years to figure that out... >_/body>
