Every company has its own "persona", which is too complex to understand. Every successful logo simplifies by making that complex actuality into a single and uncomplicated statement that can be easily controlled and modified as the time passes.
It is that simple! From the name of your company to your existing competitors, your logo design can be the only means to your company's success or failure. There can be a difference between co… Continue

Initially, enthusiasm was brimming over the Hub's social-enterpreneurial rim, with Vibewire's lemonade sellers diving head first into the heavy traffic on Harris street.
It became increasingly evident that drivers weren't interested in crawling away from their mundane, stress-ridden lives for a cool sip of Vibewi… Continue
I once had a mentor tell me that when working to empower people, all you can really do is 'hold the crown out in front of them' - it's up to them to step up into that crown and claim it.
We've been in Newman for nearly 12 weeks now working to help local kids make media, videos, websites and even fundraise, run a film night and plan events. Today was our last 'workday' with them. We did a nice review of everything they'd learned so far. At this point, without… Continue

Today, was the boringest day ever! Man, I did nothing.. Literally, it was all TV and computer.. all day long.. My brain must have died because it wasn't working as much..
Since there was no workshop, there was no fun, no nothing...
We also didn't think we'd miss Elias as much as we do now, even now for the short period of time he's been away for.. But we do.. We all thought he was fun to be with.. just like a, really big kid..
And I'm pretty sure Zac misses him too.. Now that no one else h… Continue

Heyy!
Today was Elias' last day in Newman, and now we will never, ever, ever, ever see him again... ):
But the workshop today was pretty cool.. Liam brought in his nintendo wii and everyone was so occupied just playing, while I watched Elias play with a music program on his laptop...
At lunch, me and Chloe had chicken treat, then Zac bought 2 cakes from woolworths which tasted sooooooooooooooo nice!! It was moist and sweet! (even though i'm already sweet enough..) :)
After lunch we went back… Continue
Hahahaha... This is funny.. Never mind why...
Have lyrics stuck in my head now!! Yay!! I love it! People find it annoying because I'm usually the one who gets music stuck in their head, especially Anthony!! I got him singing the same song for two weeks!! Good times! xD
I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face
and a long list of gentlemen happy to take your place
less trashier, much classier
than who you proved to be
how long's it gonna take before you see that she's no me...
OH! =)… Continue

My favorite band had always been the Goo Goo Dolls. Back when I was in college, (perhaps around 5 years ago) I got pretty excited when I heard that they would be doing a concert in Buffalo, New York.
Unfortunately, there were two things that made it impossible for me to go. One would be a thesis presentation the following d… Continue

Well, we’ve come to the end of the Internship. Last Thursday was our final day. And of course it feels bittersweet. No more two-minute video’s . . . no more Flips . . . the girrrrls are leaving.
I spent the last day finishing the How To Use a Flip Camera video. This involved doing some little diagrams of the Flip to be inserted at specific points throughout the video. Now, these diagrams were not part of the original plan, but since I elected to record the visuals before the audio (stupidly) w… Continue

It’s coming to the end of the Internship and things are easing up. Cass and I have just a few more things to finish up and we’re done. Nooooo! That means uni is almost back! Hours and hours of brain haemorrhage’s to come. Yeah . . . not looking forward to 3rd year.
Last Wednesday was interesting. Cass and I set off for the wonderfully bizarre land that is Central Station to conduct random vox pops. We discovered that it is excruciatingly hard to get people to chat to you on camera. They see you… Continue

So this week was a really short week (just one day!) but I had LOADS of fun. we went to Miller Tech High for our first workshop ever and it was awesome. We got to meet the kids involved in the Refill program and observed what a workshop is all about. I was so nervous driving there thinking I was going to be thrown in the deep end but it turned out we were pretty much there to take some footage which is what I'm used to so it was good. I must admit I was expecting the kids to be a lot worse. I th… Continue

This week we finally got to work with the super cool (!) Refill Kids out at Miller Tech High in Liverpool. Cass and I both had so much fun!! The Refill boys had us in stitches for pretty much the entire time (so we weren’t really of that much help to the workshop facilitator - the very patient Jeremy). Our role on the day was basically to document the workshop process and assist Jeremy wherever possible. So, armed with both a video and still camera Cass and I set about creating a visual record o… Continue
