Online Journal Week 9

Well, we’ve come to the end of the Internship. Last Thursday was our final day. And of course it feels bittersweet. No more two-minute video’s . . . no more Flips . . . the girrrrls are leaving.


I spent the last day finishing the How To Use a Flip Camera video. This involved doing some little diagrams of the Flip to be inserted at specific points throughout the video. Now, these diagrams were not part of the original plan, but since I elected to record the visuals before the audio (stupidly) we were left with small, black holes where there should’ve been some AMAZING footage. So . . . on with the show . . . I had to quickly sketch a few ‘push button here’ images to sync with the audio. This completed I showed Shakthi and Cass my final final edit. However, they felt that the video was lacking a something, a little spark, a little electricity. It desperately needed some background musac. Something you might hear in a café perhaps. Copyright free of course. So I went on a hunt in the final minutes of the day . . . but to no avail. Alas, someone else will have to find the little bit that’s missing from my vid.


Anyways, I just want to say thanks to Curiousworks for a great few months!! I’ve definitely learnt a lot and (gush) had fun!
