A City of Shadows and Ice is about warmth and cold a world where people argue about who should be warm, who should be protected, who should keep the fires and who should make sure they dont go out. There are times they work together against the storm, times they celebrate what they have, and times they threaten one another. Needless to say, despite the strange clothes and bizarre buildings, its a world much like our own.
The darkness gives way to chaotic storms. Its easy to forget when we build our walls we leave someone outside. When we smash our houses we make holes that let in those storms.
