Celebrate In Colour
The Blue Mountains Women’s Health and Resource Centre developed the ‘Celebrate in Colour’ visual arts workshops for young women. The young women produced individual art works and a large collaborative piece. They painted on canvas using acrylic paint plus some mixed media, with a theme of understanding and expressing who you are as a young woman. The workshops were run over three Saturdays in August/September and were facilitated by Gina Harrowell, Art Therapist and Sheridan Blair, Visual Artist.
